YKL Data Deletion Instructions
Effective Date: August 12, 2026
1. Overview
These instructions explain how a user of the YKL Global Social Media Operations Platform may request deletion of information held by Hangzhou YunKaiLiang Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. ("YKL," "we," "us," or "our").
Deleting information from YKL is different from:
- disconnecting a third-party platform account;
- deleting content that has already been published on a third-party platform; or
- closing an account directly with a third-party platform.
Users may need to complete more than one action depending on the result they want.
2. Available Deletion Options
A user may request:
- deletion of selected content or records where the Service provides that control;
- deletion of user-submitted Content Factory materials and AI-generated images or videos stored by YKL;
- deletion of information associated with a Connected Platform Account;
- deletion of an individual YKL user account;
- deletion of an organization account, if the requester is an authorized organization administrator;
- deletion of inquiry or form information controlled through the Service; or
- deletion of other personal information, subject to verification and applicable law.
Deleting an individual membership does not automatically delete information owned or controlled by the Customer organization. An organization administrator may need to act on organization-controlled data.
3. Submit a Request in the Service
Where the applicable controls are available:
- Sign in to YKL.
- Go to Account & Security.
- Open Authorization & Data Controls.
- Select Request Data Deletion or Close Account.
- Choose the account, organization, Connected Platform Account, or data category covered by the request.
- Review the effect of the request.
- Confirm and submit the request.
The names and location of controls may change as the Service develops. If the self-service control is unavailable, use the email method below.
4. Submit a Request by Email
Send a request to:
Use a subject such as:
YKL Data Deletion Request
Include:
- the email address associated with the YKL account;
- the organization name, if applicable;
- a clear description of the information or account to be deleted;
- the relevant Connected Platform, if applicable; and
- information reasonably necessary to verify the requester's identity and authority.
Do not send:
- a password;
- a client secret;
- an API key;
- an access token or refresh token;
- an OAuth authorization code;
- a webhook secret;
- a full payment-card number; or
- an unredacted third-party error payload.
YKL will not ask a requester to provide these items by ordinary email.
5. Verification
To protect customers and users, YKL may verify:
- the requester's identity;
- control of the YKL account email address;
- membership or administrator authority;
- authority over the Connected Platform Account or organization data; and
- the scope of the requested deletion.
If YKL cannot verify the request, we may ask for additional non-secret information or decline the request where necessary to protect another person or organization.
6. What YKL Will Do
After verifying a valid request, YKL will take actions appropriate to the request, which may include:
- disabling or closing the YKL account;
- removing the user from an organization;
- deleting or de-identifying profile, content, workflow, inquiry, or integration records from active systems;
- cancelling pending platform jobs where technically possible;
- stopping future synchronization for a disconnected account;
- revoking, invalidating, or deleting OAuth credentials where supported;
- deleting cached Connected Platform data as required by the applicable platform;
- notifying a relevant Customer administrator where the Customer controls the data; and
- recording the minimum information necessary to show that the request was processed.
YKL generally aims to complete a verified deletion request from active systems within 30 days. A shorter period will apply where required by a Connected Platform or applicable law. Complex, disputed, or legally restricted requests may require additional time; where appropriate, YKL will provide an update.
7. Information That May Be Retained
Deletion is not always immediate or absolute. YKL may retain limited information where reasonably necessary or legally permitted for:
- accounting, tax, invoice, and transaction obligations;
- security, fraud prevention, abuse investigation, and audit;
- legal claims, disputes, enforcement, and regulatory compliance;
- protecting the rights and safety of YKL, customers, users, platforms, or others;
- maintaining a suppression or request record so deleted information is not unintentionally restored; or
- complying with an applicable platform requirement.
Deleted information may remain in isolated backups until overwritten under the applicable backup cycle. Backup information is not returned to ordinary production use and will remain subject to access restrictions.
Where retention is required, YKL will limit the information and use it only for the applicable retention purpose.
8. Connected Platform Data
If the request concerns a Connected Platform Account, YKL will handle information stored by YKL. The user may also need to:
- disconnect YKL through the platform's own authorized-app settings;
- remove content directly from the platform;
- manage platform privacy and account settings; or
- submit a separate request to the platform.
Deleting information from YKL does not automatically delete content that a user previously published on YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Reddit, or another third-party platform.
If the platform notifies YKL that content has been deleted, restricted, or made private, YKL will update or delete retained platform information as required by the platform's rules and applicable law.
9. Account Closure and Organization Data
Closing a user account:
- ends that user's access;
- may remove the user from an organization;
- does not necessarily delete organization-owned content or records; and
- does not necessarily close the Customer's organization account.
Closing an organization account requires a request from an authorized administrator and may affect all members, integrations, content, and workflows. YKL may ask the administrator to export needed information and confirm the effect before processing.
10. Withdrawal or Correction of a Request
Contact privacy@ykltop.com promptly if a request was submitted in error. YKL cannot guarantee that a request can be stopped after deletion has begun.
